AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML)
is one of computer programming method for making interactive
type of web application. AJAX combines several programming tools
which are JavaScript, DHTML, XML, CSS, DOM, XML Http Request;
one of Micro Soft objects and so on. AJAX is different to HTTP
request. User used to wait for whole new page on their screen
when user uses a HTTP request. But AJAX can fix Web contents
when users accomplish something directly. |
For example, if user put zip code then it shows those area¡¯s
situation without delay on weather forecasting site. A ¡®Google
map¡¯ is famous application program with AFAX. User can change
view mode or adjust map on ¡®Google map¡¯. User does not have
to install plug-in for AJAX application, because it works with
web browser directly. AJAX worked on Micro Soft Internet Explorer
first time, because AJAX based on XML HTTp Request. But now,
almost Internet browser takes AJAX application.
Application program by AJAX uses engine which is relays between
user¡¯s browser and server. The engine based on Java script communicates
web browser and keep operating on background. Calling java script
massage will send to an AJAX engine, when user¡¯s input on web
page. Almost information has responds directly. It requests
to server with XML when page fixing moment, if engine needs
additional information.
